Interestingly enough, not only do we have no penalties, we have a 45-minute time bonus. I don't know how we'll spend it.
It's raining, but these guys are randonneurs do they don't care.

Mt Airy Bicycle
Jeff just pulled into one of the coolest bike shops in the world (sorry, Lynn and everybody, but this place is huge - they even have a tandem made out of bamboo). This is the time station with the RAAM "jail." Since we have no infractions (yaaa!), we don't have to wait in the penalty box. Too bad, because it's a nice place.

Damn! I am getting so excited about the finish, and I'm not even there. It has been great fun to watch the Gran Fondo Fixies and crew make their way across the country.
I can't wait to hear all of the stories.
